*********************************************** 2. Sheriff Babeu: It's 'An Outrage' Obama Stopped Building Border Fence Sheriff Paul Babeu of Pinal County, Ariz., says it is 'an outrage' the Obama administration has stopped building the double-fencing needed to assist the Border Patrol in securing the U.S.-Mexico border and says it is time for the United States to begin fighting illegal immigration and drug smuggling directly at the border instead of within the country where it harms American citizens and communities. [...] "Build the double-barrier fence and complete it," said Babeu. "I'm a combat engineer in the Army, that's part of my job. I have had 20 years now. I don't speak for the Army, but I was down in Yuma. I was a tactical commander for 400 to 700 active duty soldiers and airmen, and we secured that border, supporting our heroes in the Border Patrol. Ninety-five percent reduction in illegal entries. And to this date, there's not one soldier there, and why is that? It's because we completed the double-barrier fence and they have full enforcement." The fence works whenever it is constructed properly, but most of it has not been. The are 310 miles of pedestrian fencing on the border, and 80 miles of what DHS claims it built is actually 10-ft mat-type that is at least 15-years-old; leaving us with 230 miles of DHS-built pedestrian fencing, most of it useless. *********************************************** 3. Governor Brewer takes on the United Nations, The US Department of State and the Obama Administration (again) The actions of the State Department and the Obama Administration including the State of Arizona as a human rights violator is absolutely beyond the recognition of good governance by our President. This unprecedented betrayal of an entire State by our President is stupefyingly egregious. In a press release titled Governor Brewer condemns US State Department Report to UN Council on Human Rights, our Governor is taking on the whole world. Well, not the whole world just the United Nations and our own State Department, and the Obama Administration (again). PHOENIX – In correspondence sent today to U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, Governor Jan Brewer has condemned the "Universal Periodic Review" report submitted to the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights. Governor Brewer has requested that Secretary Clinton amend the report to the United Nations to remove the paragraph on S.B. 1070. In her letter to Secretary of State Clinton, Governor Brewer stated "Simply put, it is downright offensive that the State Department included the State of Arizona and S.B. 1070 in a report to the United Nations Council on Human Rights, whose members include such renowned human rights 'champions' as Cuba and Libya." Governor Brewer additionally stated, "The idea of our own American government submitting the duly enacted laws of a State of the United States to 'review' by the United Nations is internationalism run amok and unconstitutional. Human rights as guaranteed by the United States and Arizona Constitutions are expressly protected in S.B. 1070 and defended vigorously by my Administration." The State Department's report takes credit for the "…sophistication and breadth of [the United States'] anti-trafficking efforts" while in fact many human rights problems are occurring because of the decade-old or more enforcement policy by the federal government to secure the border in San Diego and El Paso and leave the Tucson Sector less secured. This policy choice forces the illegal immigrant trafficking across the harsh Arizona desert resulting in life-and-death consequences. Governor Brewer stated that "If the federal government secured the entire border and enforced our immigration laws, these human rights problems would not be occurring for citizens, legal residents and illegal immigrants."

UNBELIEVABLE - We MUST not allow Obama to do this MAKE NOISE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ruthie Click link for full article Feds to drop deportation of thousands of illegal immigrants
WASHINGTON - The Obama administration is moving to throw out deportation cases against thousands of illegal immigrants if the immigrants have a potential path to legal residency. The move could affect as many as 17,000 immigrants who entered the country illegally or overstayed their visas, including some who are currently being detained and could be released from detention facilities as part of the move, according to Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials. It comes amid a push by ICE to focus on illegal immigrants who have committed crimes, rather than seek to deport all illegal immigrants. Officials say the shift is needed to reduce massive clogs in the nation's Immigration Courts, where detainees can wait for months or years before their cases are decided, and to use deportation as a tool for public safety. "ICE is dedicating unprecedented resources to the removal of criminal aliens," said Richard Rocha, deputy press secretary at the immigration-enforcement agency. "The focus now is clearly on criminal aliens. ... We want to ensure convicted criminal aliens are not only removed from the community but from the country as well." Rocha said the deportation of criminals accounts for about half of all removals, an all-time high. If the immigrants who are released under the new policy have their applications for legalization rejected, ICE will resume removal proceedings. While immigration advocates applauded the move and said it reflects a more humane approach to illegal immigrants in detention, Republican lawmakers and groups that favor stricter limits on immigration denounced it as a form of amnesty. The number of immigrants being detained in the United States has doubled in the past decade, to 369,000 annually. There are now about 248,000 cases awaiting review in backlogged Immigration Courts, according to Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse at Syracuse University, which tracks immigration statistics. (this from NumbersUSA) | Obama to States: Only Feds Can Enforce Immigration Law (but feds will dismiss charges) | | | By Roy Beck, Thursday, August 26, 2010 | At the National Press Club earlier this week, the main question asked me by reporters there was to the effect of "What makes you think the Obama Administration would actually declare a de facto amnesty without going through Congress?" My answers were good but not nearly so convincing as the Houston story two days later that the feds are dismissing cases against arrested illegal aliens hand over foot.
Read Full Entry | ******************** (this from ALIPAC) Friends of ALIPAC,
By now, most of you that are reading our homepage on a regular basis know that President Obama has ordered Amnesty for illegal aliens without a debate or vote from Congress.
This is the action of a king or despot, not a president and since Obama is not a king, we know what that makes him.
He has ordered the Border Patrol to back away from the border in some areas and in other areas they are either not stopping illegals or catching them and releasing them. Fines against employers are a trickle and slaps on the wrist while all raids have been halted.
Now, tens of thousands of illegal aliens are having their cases dismissed before their deportation hearings.
This is why ALIPAC has shaped our 2010 candidate survey to look for congressional candidates that are going to stand up to Obama and use the full power of the Congress if necessary to stop his Amnesty and save American jobs, wages, security, rights, and lives from illegal immigration.
