Well, there are states here in the US that require folks to have auto insurance, have you complained about that?  If you have health caare insurance ,, what do you have to worry about?  If every one has health care, that is less the US taxpayers would have to pay in the way of medcaid? Ithought you folks were for smaller government and less spending,
I never said there were plans for the mosque,, it is folks like you that has said that the community center would look down on ground zer,, in order for that to happen,, the community center would have to be build over 1776 feet,,  there is no plans for the community center yet,, it is in the works,, do get your facts straight, it would help with the thread,, LOL

Who are you talking to? What has this got to do with the plans for the Mosque?

Talk about the Constitution, you and yours go against it every day. Forcing people to pay for insurance and others is most unconstitutional.

So I gather by this deflection you can't come up with the plans for the Mosque.

I never said they didn't have the right to build there. I said it is insensitive for them to build there. Get your story straight if you are capable.

You and other Constitutional haters are the ones making the allegations that the Islamic Community center will look down on ground zero,, that means it would have to be over 1776 feet tall or taller,, the building they are in is only about three or four stories,  LOL

You sent the link for the new towers but not the proposed Islamic center.

I looked and couldn't find the proposed building specs. Perhaps Elaine has more information.

A Mosque must never be built near ground zero. The proposed mosque would be taller than the second world trade centre tower. A perfect way for Islam to have the final victory, to show the world that they are able to look down on ground zero. A rather suprising poll taken in America:1.Would you say US muslims are patriotic americans? 55 per cent said yes.  2. Would you oppose or favour a mosque in your neighbourhood? 55 per cent said favour. Do you favour a mosque near ground zero? 26 per cent favour.
Whenever a mosque is proposed anywhere in Sydney, there is an uproar, because of the war in Afghanistan.
I'm sorry, I may be intolerant, but surely you don't invite your enemy in to the country to do as he pleases. All major cities in Australia have police seizing info from Muslims who are collecting cash to send to the middle east. The Kurdish community in Melbourne has been doing the same. If muslims want to live in the west, enjoy the employment, life style, health services, it is not unreasonable to expect them to leave the hate behind
