Protest FBI Raids Today, Former CIA Speaks, Heatwave
September 28th, 2010
Today Tuesday September 28 at 5 PM downtown LA Federal Building 300 North Los Angeles Street. This is to protest the recent raids on political activists in the Midwest by the FBI. I will be attending. It is recommended that we show up a little early to catch the workers as they leave the building.

Later at 7 PM there will be an interesting free talk at the downtown LA main library in the Mark Tabor Auditorium on what US relations would be like in the middle east if there were no Islam. In other words what would the dynamics of the situation be? Graham Fuller is giving the talk based on his recent book "A World Without Islam". Fuller is a former vice chairman of the National Intelligence Council at the CIA in charge of long-range strategic forecasting. He is currently adjunct professor of history at Simon Fraser University in Vancouver. This should be interesting and I am planning on attending and giving a report.

It has been hot here in southern California. Yesterday hit record highs of 113 in downtown Los Angeles. It was 92 here in Long Beach officially but my car registered 107 at 3:30. Today it is cloudy in the morning and hopefully it will be a cooler day for the protests.
