I've no doubt of the independent polls, that show 78% of the Israeli people WANT PEACE. Ordinary Palestinians WANT PEACE, as well. However, several factions understand that REAL peace, would put them out of existence.
Netanhayu, has openly said he could NOT win an election. without the Nation's continuous "war footing." Hamas would be lsft without an enemy, and no funding for it's agendas. WAR is the biggest contributor to the area's economic existence. Not only Israel, and the Palestibian state. Iran, Iraw, Syria, and the Saudi Royal family would lose trillions of dollars in arms sales. Example: Arms sales make up nearly 30% of Iran's economic life. Israel sells arms too, 5th largwst dealer in the world. The USA would lose big time as well. People want PEACE. Leaders don't. Walt
