IMHO, real PEACE in the Middle East, would turn the current world upside down. The cost of OIL, would drop a lot, as the need to secure it, with military forces, would not exixt.That would aply to many Nations. Defense budgets could br SLASHED in great amounts. The various Military/Industrial complexes would lose their financial strangleholds over National policies. Both the USA's National, and trade deficits would shrink.
Politically, the HATERS would have no issue to unite them. Bin Laden's friends in Saudi Arabia would not have any need to fund his gang of terrorists. Hanas, and Hwzbollah would soon cease to exist, as Iran, Egypt, and Syria would not need to fund them. Moderate leaders would arise.
