There are myriad false harassment claims. Venitists blasted Hewlett-Packard for forcing CEO Mark Hurd to resign, even after the PC maker's board determined Hurd had not violated its sexual harassment policy. Hurd resigned after a probe into sexual harassment allegations turned up expense account abuses that HP wrongfully claimed were intended to cover up his relationship with a female contractor.
But guess what? Silicon Valley technology giant Oracle Corp has just hired Mark Hurd as president! Hurd, a close friend of Oracle CEO Larry Ellison will replace Charles Phillips, who has resigned. Ellison had slammed HP's decision to oust Hurd, calling the actions of HP's board cowardly. Ellison asserts that Hurd did a brilliant job at HP and he expects he'll do even better at Oracle.
The stupid HP board made the worst personnel decision since the idiots on the Apple board fired Steve Jobs many years ago. In losing Mark Hurd, the stupid HP board failed to act in the best interest of HP's employees, shareholders, customer,s and partners. The HP board voted 6-to-4 to go public with the false sexual harassment claim against innocent Hurd. HP's charge that Hurd engaged in expense fraud was not credible. What the expense fraud claims do reveal is a stupid HP board desperately grasping at straws in trying to publicly explain the unexplainable.
Publishing known false sexual harassment claims is not good corporate governance; it's cowardly corporate political correctness. HP directors debated whether the company needed to disclose Jodie Fisher's false sexual harassment claim against innocent Hurd. Fisher said she did not have an intimate sexual relationship with Hurd. Fisher declared she is very surprised and very sorry Hurd was fired for such a minor misunderstanding. The two have settled their misunderstanding privately in a real amiable catharsis.
Sexual harassment, is intimidation, bullying, or coercion of a sexual nature, or the unwelcome or inappropriate promise of rewards in exchange for sexual favors. In some contexts or circumstances, sexual harassment may be illegal. It includes a range of behavior from seemingly mild transgressions and annoyances to actual sexual abuse.
Basil Venitis notes the Greek Parliament, aka the Grand Brothel on Syntagma Square, passed a law that every man accused of sexual harassment is considered guilty until proven innocent! Any sadist woman who gets fired can claim she was sexually harassed, and any psycho who suffers from middle-age syndrome illusions can claim she is being stared at her cleavage, even though she might not have any boobs! Any disenchanted woman can raise hell. Any fortysomething woman with diminishing reproductive resources might jump out of the shelf, freak out, and torture men with lawsuits. Any gigapygian mama can claim she is Miss Universe, and everybody is after her! Bitches, golddiggers, maniacs, spiderwomen, and shrews have finally found the tool to manipulate men. For God's sake stop that law mill!
Power-player, legally termed quid pro quo harasser, insists on sexual favors in exchange for benefits they can dispense because of their top positions: getting or keeping a job, favorable grades, recommendations, credentials, projects, promotion, orders, and other types of opportunities.
Intellectual Seducer is most often found in educational settings, churches, and monasteries. These harassers will try to use their knowledge and skills as an avenue to gain access to students, or information about students, for sexual purposes. They may require students participate in exercises or studies that reveal information about their sexual experiences, preferences, and habits.
Groper is a harasser whose eyes and hands begin to wander, engaging in unwanted physical contact that may start innocuous but lead to worse.
