I know it is kind of early for Christmas decorations, but I want to do a lot, so I started early. I created a photo album called " Bethel's Beads" and posted photos of 3 ornament covers I have made recently.

The Lace and Roses ornament I did in August because I was so excited about the design I couldn't wait. It was designed by Deb Moffett-Hall. The instructions were wonderful. I love how it came out. I used the very same fringe beads in the pattern. This is for my brother and SIL who have an wonderful old victorian style home and collect Christmas ornaments. I am sure they will really like this one.
This month, I made the Ribbon-Berry Garland ornament cover, also designed by Deb Moffett-Hall. It is 2-drop peyote. Again, the design is wonderful. I deviated a little on the fringe beads because I found some I loved at the local bead store. I am going to make a bracelet from this band design. It is really stunning in person.
The red bead ornament cover is my own design. I started out worling from a modified herringbone necklace/collar pattern (in a magazine or someplace like that) and decided I didn't want to make a complete necklace. I was going to run out of beads and have order and wait. I hate waiting for beads part way through a project. Anyway, I thought it would make a better ornament cover anyway. So I worked it into size, added netting and some teardrop beads from my stash. I am very happy with how it came out.
I also posted a photo of a bracelet I made from Margie Deeb's "Let it Snow" design. The colors are so much nicer in person than in the photo.
