Hello Fellow Beader!!
Happy Thanksgiving to those of us in the U.S..
Happy Start to Holiday Season to the rest--too many holidays to name,
and I don't want to leave anyone out, so I just call it "The Holiday
Season."
Hope the beading is going great, not too many problems or changes.
Personally, mine has changed because I used to do alot of beading at
X-Mas time, but I can't this year because I'm getting keychains and such
ready to sell(hopefully after X-mas.)
Another reason is my grandmother pasted away a couple months ago, and my
mother has me scanning in all the grandmother's photographs--I have at
least 4 large box filled with photos that span probadly 100 years of
family history, I was looking through a small photo album the other day
and there was a photo of someone in uniform, I'm thinking WWI. Then mom
wants all of our photos scanned in as well--slides & negatives all the
way back to my dad's Navy days.
Plus 3 weeks ago today, we found a 7 week old kitten under the back step
of our garage. I just happened to go outside with my sister to walk her
dog before going home, when I heard the tiny meowing. We think it was a
case of abandonment. My mother says we were fated to find the kitten,
who we named Shadow, because our cats, Peter & Sassy, accepted little
Shadow right away. Right now as I type this, all 3 cats are curled up
together on my bed.
So here's what I am working on this year to X-mas:
A chocolate brown cat oranment--little Shadow
A papillon-looking dog oranment that looks like my sister's dog, Jackson
And a neon pink baby duck beaded crystal as a baby gift for my cousin
Jake and his girlfriend--we want NO SNOWSTORMS the next 3 weeks, the
little lady's due soon.
So what's everyone else doing?
