[Fun_with_Bead-Patterns] QUESTIONS ABOUT CLAMSHELLS

 

I've just started beading and have a few questions. Have bought beads, tools, string, books, clasps, etc. but need info about clamshells. I've got stretch cord, .5 and .7 mm, and beads from 5 mm to 14 mm. Can I use clamshells on the stretch cord? If so, what sizes do I buy for the sizes of cord/beads that I have? Also, is beading thread okay to use for glass/wood beads? What size do I get for the beads I have? Looked in books I've got but with no luck for this info. Thanks for any help.
