Hi Rick,
Am I seeing correctly that one whole side of the ways were moveable (to lock)? If not, how did you "close up" the dovetails?
I have one like Nick posted. I see the articulated cranks on yours are an improvement. The X crank on mine must over-hang the table to operate.
