Another approach is to go to Lowe's or an industrial supplier (like
Fastenal or Reid Supply) or Surplus Center and find flanged bushings and
cast a "hunk 'o metal" and put a hole in it for the bushing. All that
needs is a drill, although a drill press is a better choice.
