Ah, you know me well. I am tempted to remachine the dove tails but would
probably make things worse. For now, I will just let it cook in my head. It
does help to reflect on how bad this compound was right out of the box :-))

Not bad! You'll prolly figure out a way to shim out that error anyway,
knowing you and you endless quest to 'get it right'!
