[gingery_machines] new article: Aligning to an Axis

 

A few years ago I learned about a new way to align my mill vise that
permitted it to be done in a single pass. For some reason I could not figure
out the math and others came to my rescue. Then this morning I was watching
a YouTube video on how to align a mill vise sitting on a pivot base when it
all became clear. It became clear because the guy doing the alignment was
doing it wrong :-))
