[Politics_CurrentEvents_Group] BAD TEACHERS!!

 

                           Except for serving on the local School board, I've been active in my local education system since Head start in 1974. Twice President of my district's PTSA board of directors, and 2 terms on the teacher disciplinary panel. This "BAD TEACHER," business is as assinine a charge as I've ever seen. I've talked with hundreds of teachers over the years, and I've seen just TWO that I felt were not very good. 99% are dedicated, damn hard working people.

                           The best damn question I've ever been asked by a teacher is: "WHY WON'T THE POLITICIANS SHUT THE HELL UP, AND LET US TEACH??" That was after she showed me the 5th set of "new programs," in her 17 year career as a teacher. 78 pages of "new ideas." Walt
