That is what I particularly like about your writing style- the step-by step while identifying the cause/effect of the solution (like the axis pdf)-
Look forward to it as usual!

Kerri,
I really like your idea of an article that leads a person through all steps to making something. I was reading my HSM for January 2011 today and see a nice tool on page 74 that lets you safely hold screws as you shorten them with a saw. This is a very old idea yet a good one. I think I see a way to improve on it. So I will attempt to show all steps and write an article on it.
Thanks!
Rick

Rick- From a complete noob to the Gingery world and metalworking in general- many of your pdf's are simplistic intros that challenge and encourage- not to say they are simple- they break things down simply and concise.
If you were to ask- I would say one arena you hit well into is the "concept and application"... seems to be your approach (problem and solution with step-by-step)... ever consider putting your penmanship into a home workshop lathe guide? Or in this case a "Shop Notes" format of exercises for self-learners?
Just a thought- I learn as I read- and am trying to get to the point of experience...

CT2,
Glad you liked it. My impression is that most people were not interested so
wonder what topics would be better to investigate.
