I find it easiest to keep the ends a plain color.
If you are always making a 7" bracelet, then use a pattern that is only 6 or 6-1/2" long.
Put the plain color beads on the warp bars, then start to weave with 2-4 rows of the plain color before starting your pattern. You can always square stitch additional rows onto the ends if needed.
