I made one like this one but with a threaded MT3 taper arbor, but watch out and don't make the same mistake he did. If you look at the picture on page:
<http://homepage3.nifty.com/amigos/boring_head/boring_head-e.htm>
you will see he drilled the off centre hole for the vertical boring bar on the wrong side of the centre hole, when you compare it to the drawing.

The boring head is project #47. He has a drawing in metric, so you might have to do a little converting.
