Chris,
Thanks for this, this sounds exactly like what I have been looking for. I have signed up and would like to give it a try.

People. :)
There are several other groups loosely associated with this one.
Or I inherited several groups when Clint passed.
This group is all about home machine shop projects.
It does not get much traffic Apparently groups for specific
machines are more popular??
Since this group is already set up and already has members
many of which I am betting have an interest in this
subject?? :)
You are welcome to move this topic there.
The rules are the same. No spam, keep it clean / civil and
have fun. :)
OH :) A note..
From time to time a subject will lead down a path not
specific to a group topic - Gingery in this case.
As long as we avoid the three major causes of argument
(sex, politics, religion) these slight distractions are
welcome here.
We all have different interests and I am sure once a machine
is built it will be "used" to do other things ? :)
It is both interesting and educational to learn why some one
chooses to build a machine.
Even if you do not have a specific interest in the current
subject at hand many times you will find information that
may be useful to a subject you are interested in.
