I looked at the pics of the shaper patterns and, well I was not impressed. I myself would not be satisfied with them. And $150 to me seems to be a little bit high. But if your skill with wood is not good then how do you intend to do machine work where precision is a must. Taking the easy way out comes at a cost, and it is more than you can estimate. I do not think any amount of money could pay for the journey you will go through from start to completion.
