Hi Allison,
Try Stitchboard.com You can upload your picture and use their online software to make your pattern in a number of different stitches. You have to join first, I'm on dial-up and it didn't take long at all to join. They already have a number of patterns available and lots of pictures you can use to make your pattern too. Then you just print it out. I love free stuff and this site is really great.

Hi. I was hoping someone could help me with pattern/design making for a bracelet.. I want to make heart/wings and wondered if there is a simple way to transfer my idea to the proper graph paper. I am not talented as far as drawing, so the easiest way is the best way..maybe somehow copy a pic (no copyright infringe) onto the graph?
I am fairly new to beading, know many stitches, but my brain just shuts off about the pattern part. Any help making this easier is greatly appreciated. I don't have alot of money to spend on software, its just little ole me doing this on my own..
If anyone could point me in the right direction would be wonderful..
Thank you for taking the time to read this.
