I guess I'll go back to my old digital camera and look at ways to apply more
light. I still don't like having a big tripod in my way. You may recall that
I have a very small shop.

A tripod or other mechanical device for holding a camera does wonders. As
you note lighting is very important also. When doing items close up you
really need to have both in tip top shape.
