David,

------------------------OT:
IMHO, the winning combination is an Apple Bluetooth keyboard and my iPad. A close second is this same keyboard and my iPod touch.

I also use my iPad 3 times a week while exercising in order to watch streaming movies from Netflix. Works great!
------------------------
I did pull out an old text book and read up on dynamic balancing. The first moment of an object is what you set to zero to get static balance. The second moment set to zero is dynamic balance. If I could only find a simple and low cost way to dynamically balance my grinder. The tube filled with oil and ball bearings would be tricky.

I don't know if it would be practical to try to develop something like that for a bench grinder sized wheel.
