Hi everyone,
I have spent most of my beading time doing everything but bead-weaving. I have been too scared to do much of it. I feel pretty incompetent in general and not "good with" my hands. I have recently done a few little projects - a couple of kits and a peyote stitch bracelet etc. It was very hard for me - translating the instruction in general (they often are so vague to me I could intrepret them in several "wrong" ways), and I also am left-handed so I have to switch the instructions that way as well. Also there is that wonderful Fibromyalgia "brain fog" to deal with...
Anyway - I really really want to make a sexy netted necklace. I want it to be several layers. I am feeling very drawn to making netted jewelry in general and would like to learn the diferent techniques. When I have looked for books/patterns I have found a lot of netting used for non-jewelry items. I was hoping I could get some suggestions on a begging book(or other source) to netting.
Something that starts very simple and gradually gets more complex.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
April
