[gingery_machines] Building a 2nd lathe

 

Started building a 2nd Gingery Lathe. Everything will be according to the plans with the exception of the bed. Gingery's plans call for a 24" long bed I have made my new one 30" long and using 3 bases instead of 2. I also made the walls of the bed much thicker than the plans called for. So far so good, and the Shaper has been a BIG help! I have posted a pic of the extended bed and carriage here:
