Frankly I kinda wish I had the time I had as child. I had the good fortune to grow up in the country with the advantage of a passable garage. Frankly that shaped my point of view of the world and my wiliness to tinker with things. There where always things to be taken apart investigated or welded back up in that garage. We never had the fine machine tools that I would see later in life but we did have imagination, plenty of left over bicycle parts and * surplus.
The sad part is that with the present economy the potential to realize such a place for myself is slowly slipping away.
