Wonk, I could not agree more. Many of the topics brought up here have nothing or little to do with a Gingery machine. As for myself I've recently completed the Gingery Shaper, & am working on a 2nd lathe. My first lathe was OK, but not up to snuff, but this was a great learning experience, and helped me to make the Shaper much better. After I finish the 2nd lathe I plan on working on the Miller & maybe one or two of the engines that the Gingery's have done.
