Thanks for the high praise. I know how much you hate math so getting you to even try the spreadsheet makes it all worthwhile.

I think you made the right choice in buying that digital adjustable square. It would be crazy to be fooling with a caliper and a spreadsheet out in the field. I look forward to hearing how you like it.

Thanks Rick,you obviously know about "Math anxiety"! I see that I could easily us your spread sheet. What's more I understand the principal, but, I have to admit, I just ordered the digital adjustable square, too useful for me when measuring up "on site" special stair rails and what ever the audio-visual entertainments world can invent for me to build.
