One of the core responsibilities of the GOP dept. of Propaganda is to keep their followers in a constant state of fear of imaginary enemies and by doing so, they can easily manipulate their thought processes and coercer them into behaving a certain way that strong minds would resist. Paranoia delusions is a excellent tool by which the right wing nuts would give up their liberties and freedoms in order to calm their weak minds.
