I have had the same problem, so I bought a pair of rubber gloves (like
you use to wash dishes) I bought them smaller than I would wear , they
have to fit tight- I then cut off the fingers, and pull one of these
onto the finger that is getting sore - so then I have a full sized
"thimble" for the sore area.
If it fits tight, after about a minute, I don't even know I'm wearing it
- I wear one on my pinky finger, and another on my middle finger, as
these are the ones that get sore.
One pair of gloves gives me 8 thimbles!!! (the thumb is too big!!LOL)
