As I read far less than I measure, they stay "at home", which is up-stairs from my work-shop. The lower part of my bi-focals is good for the computer. People who are not short sighted have much more trouble in later life. Being used to wearing glasses all the time, I don't loose them, they're allways on my nose!

When I still worked as a mechanic my eye doctor would prescribe double d
lenses (bifocal top and bottom) with the lower prescription for what my
eyes needed to read at a normal distance and the upper with a
prescription that focused about 6" in front of my nose for when I had my
head in a dash. The first time I had to talk about 30 minutes to
convince him but from then on until I retired I never had to ask again.
