[gingery_machines] aluminum or not...

 

i have an old quadrajet carburetor and the base is aluminum but im not sure if the rest is...the base i broke up into pieces and the pieces were pretty light and the rest of it i broke up and they are a bit heavier than the base was...i would also like to know if anything would happen if i melted a carburetor...its been sitting for years and all the gas has dried up
