The Green Fascism by Ahmed Charai
Today, Arab -- but also Western -- diplomats are making the same mistake toward the "green fascism." Their "smart" strategy would consist in involving these groups in a democratic process; Radical Islamists would then, they believe, change their behavior.
Radical Islamism, however, is a form of political activity that rejects the principles of parliamentary democracy. Extremist ideology and practices are based on intolerance, exclusion, xenophobia, anti-Semitism and ultranationalism.
It is a direct threat in weakening the constitutional democratic order and civic liberties; and an indirect threat by causing political mistakes. Even some liberal parties in the Arab world are tempted to take their cues from the Islamist pitch book. Islamists have enjoyed the benefits of petro-funding for decades now, and have used these long years to set the terms of public discussion. Liberals in Egypt, for example, have sometimes been forced into the position of trying to "out-Islamize the Islamists."
Radical Islamism was born at the end of the 1970s after the failure of pan-Arabism. Islamists have presented themselves as reformists, proponents of modernity, who want to "modernize Islam." Unfortunately, in my experience, they are actually trying to "Islamize modernity" – in other words, to impose outdated interpretations of Islamic law on the present reality, to the detriment of women, minorities, and secular Muslims.
In the wake of the 1979 Iranian Revolution, the "Green Peril" is seen as a major threat. No wonder then thatin Algeria, in 1991, while Islamists of the FIS triumphed over free elections, the West saw the democratic process interrupted -- with a resultant Algerian civil war that was to last ten years and produce 200,000 casualties.
We need to see what lies beyond the veneer. There is not one radical current that has the slightest program on housing, health, education, and other aspects of civil society. They all feed on slogans chanting the return to pure islam, that of caliphs, and play wonderfully on the rise of a disquieting nationalist upsurge in the face of a supposed aggression of modernity in Iraq and Palestine. This position is at odds with the democratic transition, but supporters are attracted to the Islamist militant ideology nonetheless. One reason is simply that Islamists tend to have more money to spend on winning supporters: they enjoy petro-endowments from Saudi Arabia and Iran, while liberals and secularists have little or no backing by comparison. Another reason for the allure of these groups is their exploitation of powerful religious tropes.
American policy toward these groups is unclear to many Arabs. We know that since September 11, influential policy voices in Washington have been searching for a way of drawing a line between "moderate" Muslims and radicals espousing violence. But separating these two trends is extremely difficult, even for people who live in the region; and whether the Obama Administration will succeed in doing so remains unclear. The Muslim Brotherhood Comes to America by Joe Kaufman
"Make your daddy glad that he had such a lad!"
We are looking at a culture that spits arrogance (look at the "finger-lady" re the King hearings, or El-Sham re criticism of the clit-snippers' "Isalm must dominate" culture as being "over the top Islamaphobia") and can't feed itself. It is a culture of delusions re Caliphates and "Islam must dominate."
We are going to feed people who want to kill us-people that think their Islamic culture is superior-that sneer at us. It's amazing."9/11 LAWSUIT REVEALS IRAN'S DIRECT INVOLVEMENT IN 9/11 PLOT
Video
Spanish police seized nine Israeli origin Bell-212 military transport helicopters ready for export to Iran from warehouses in Madrid & Barcelona . In total 8 person including 5 Spanish & 3 Iranians were detained ,which five Spanish are suspected of trying to export the US-made aircrafts to Iran , while the three Iranians are accused of negotiating the purchase of military material . Also spare parts ready for export to Venezuela was found in same premises.
Some nine U.S.-manufactured Bell 212 helicopters were seized in Madrid and Barcelona, according to Spain's interior ministry. The sale of such vehicles to Iran violates the United Nations' arms embargo against Tehran, whose nuclear program is believed to be geared toward producing atomic bombs.
Five years ago, Iran successfully test-fired in the Persian Gulf its "Noor" long-range cruise missile, based on China's C-802 anti-ship cruise design. The launch platform utilized in the April 2006 test was believed to be a Russian Mil-17 helicopter.
Noor Missile (AP)
The Noor has a range of 200 kilometers, reportedly with no need of an over-the-horizon targeting system. Its velocity is twice the speed of sound, it travels just a few yards above water, and it is close to undetectable by radar. The Noor's single-shot kill probability has been estimated at nearly 98 percent.
Israel's Delilah cruise missile, with a range of 250 kilometers and which can be fitted with a variety of warheads, can similarly be launched from Israel's U.S.-made Sikorsky helicopters.
The Jerusalem Post reports that Israel had used the Bell-212 military transports until the 1990s when it purchased Sikorskys as replacements.
Hezbollah guerrillas in 2006 attacked an Israeli military ship with Iranian-made Noor missiles fired from the Lebanese shore. The terrorist group is believed to possess dozens of Noor cruise missiles.
The use of nuclear devices by an Islamist terrorist group is one of the chief fears of Iran, a terrorist client state, becoming a nuclear power.
A year ago it was revealed in an Israeli multinational ballistic missile defense conference that Tehran had improved a Ukrainian-supplied Russian KH-55 nuclear-capable cruise missile, about a dozen of which Iran apparently covertly received between 1999 and 2001.
As Al-Jazeera reported last year, "This means that Iran has had approximately 10 years to reverse engineer and improve upon" the KH-55.
Iranian Defense Minister Ahmad Vahidi about a year ago announced production of the new highly-accurate, radar-evading Nasr-1 anti-ship cruise missile. In late 2009, Iran tested its two-stage, solid-propellant, surface-to-surface Sejil-2 missile, with a 1,200-mile range capable of reaching Israel.
The Israeli defense ministry reportedly sold the Bell choppers, after years of Israeli air force use, to a Spanish businessman who intended to sell them for use in fire-fighting within Spain.
When the copters were judged unsuitable for such use, he apparently turned to Iran.
For any country other than Iran, helicopters would be considered to be of little danger. For a regime doggedly pursuing both nuclear capabilities and missile development, however, another model of military helicopter to be used as a missile launch test platform could be the last piece of the puzzle leading to successful atomic aggression.

New York (CNN) -- Trinidad native Kareem Ibrahim was convicted Thursday of conspiring to detonate fuel tanks and a fuel pipeline at New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport, according to a statement from the U.S. Eastern District Court of New York.
Ibrahim was one of three men arrested in the 2007 plot, after a government informant infiltrated the group and taped its conversations, and he now faces the possibility of life behind bars.
Co-conspirators Abdul Kadir and Russell Defreitas earlier received life sentences in the plot.
The leader of the Shiite Muslim community in Trinidad and Tobago, Ibrahim provided religious and operational support to the men plotting the attack, according to prosecutors.
In one recorded conversation he advised that the men must be ready to "fight it out, kill who you could kill and go back to Allah."
Defreitas, who authorities say was the mastermind behind the plan, had extensive knowledge of the JFK Airport where he worked as a cargo handler and in 2006 recruited Ibrahim, Kadir and Abdel Nur to join him in the plot
According to the statement from U.S. Eastern District Court of New York, Ibrahim "believed the attack would cause extensive damage to the airport and to the United States economy, as well as the loss of innocent lives."
The specific charges Ibrahim was convicted of were conspiracy to attack a public transportation system, conspiracy to destroy a building by fire or explosive, conspiracy to attack aircraft and aircraft materials, conspiracy to destroy international airport facilities and conspiracy to attack a mass transportation facility, the statement said.
Last August, Defreitas and Kadir were convicted by a federal jury in New York. Defreitas was found guilty on all six counts against him: conspiring to attack a public transportation system, to destroy a building or other real property by fire or explosive, to attack aircraft and aircraft materials, to destroy or damage international airport facilities and to attack a mass transportation facility, and surveillance of a mass transportation facility.
Kadir was found guilty on five of the counts, but not guilty on the count of surveillance of mass transportation facility.
In response to the decision in Ibrahim's case Thursday, U.S. Attorney Loretta E. Lynch said in a statement, "In pursuit of a radical terrorist agenda, bent on the destruction of John F. Kennedy Airport and the murder of innocent civilians, Imam Kareem Ibrahim abandoned the true tenets of his religion."
"We will continue to seek out and bring to justice all those who plot to attack the United States and its people," she added.
Nur pleaded guilty last June to providing material support to a terrorist conspiracy and was sentenced to 15 years in prison.

The arrest came just days after Serge Brammertz, the ICTY's chief prosecutor, filed a negative report about Serbia's co-operation with the ICTY with the UN Security Council. Brammertz' report made it less likely that the EU member states would have given the green light to Serbia's candidacy this year, threatening Tadić's chances of re-election next year.

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - "The recent events … show that the future of the world, including [that of] the US and Europe, belongs to Islam," Moslehi said at a conference in the central Iranian city of Karaj on Thursday.
A group of Egyptians have announced their intent to establish a Nazi party with "a contemporary frame of reference," an independent Egyptian news website said on Wednesday.
Al-Badeel, a leftist news portal, quoted founding member Emad Abdel Sattar as saying the party would bring together prominent figures from the Egyptian society. The party's founding deputy is a former military official.
The party believes in vesting all powers in the president after selecting him or her carefully, Abdel Sattar said, adding that preparations are underway to choose the most competent person to represent the party.
The Nazi party operated secretly under former President Hosni Mubarak, whose regime prevented party leaders from carrying out their activities freely.
Although Al-Masry Al-Youm could not verify the news reported by Al-Badeel, two Facebook pages have appeared recently under the title of "the Egyptian Nazi Party".
The two pages attracted around 70 followers, who mostly posted questions about the party's ideas and policies and requested details on how to join.
Abdel Sattar told Al-Badeel that members are increasing at an unexpected rate, and several people came to ask about the nature of the party and its plans.
The party has a one-year plan to develop Egypt, unlike the "marginalized liberal parties, which are like dead bodies," he said.
A source from the proposed party told Al-Badeel the idea to start it came after some fundamentalist religious waves emerged, which, according to the source, created a state of chaos and led to the burning of churches, the destruction of shrines and assaults on unarmed civilians.
The founders want to avoid media attention until they are fully ready, the source said.
What united al-Husseini and the Third Reich was a common hatred of the Jewish people. The Nazis had taken al-Husseini under their protection following the wartime invasion of Iraq. He was to spend most of the war living in a luxurious suite at the Hotel Adlon in Berlin. Hitler had enjoyed quite a following among the nationalist youth of Egypt during the war, after Nassiri Nasser, the brother of the future president of Egypt, had published an Arab edition of Mein Kampf in 1939, describing its author as the "strongest man of Europe". Not surprisingly, Egypt became like Argentina after the war - a safe haven for SS war criminals who fled there after the war. Many were keen to help President Nasser in his attempts to destroy the State of Israel. There is evidence that the shadowy ODESSA network helped many of them to Egypt. Apart from Syria - who still host the wanted SS war criminal Alois Brunner, it was in Egypt that the Post-war Arab links to the ODESSA network were strongest. (More here)

The Mufti's legacy did not stop when he escaped the defeated Nazi Germany. Upon arrival in Cairo, he resumed the role that he had left, as the spiritual leader -- in exile -- of the Palestinian Arab community. The Mufti played a key role in the decision of the Arab League to reject the UN paritition plan in 1947 to declare a Jewish and an Arab state in Palestine. Instead, the Mufti rallied Arabs throughout the Arab world to apply Hitler's
concept of the final solution to wipe out the Jews in their nascent state of Israel.
The Mufti raised a new generation of young Palestinian Arabs to form a new Moslem brotherhood to take up the cause of a lifelong effort to eradicate the Jewish state. (here)

Starting during the time of the Second Lebanon War, former and current Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin 'Bibi' Netanyahu often made comparisons between Israel's so called disproportionate responses to rocket attacks by terrorist groups such as Hamas and Hezbollah to Churchill's firebombing of Dresden as a direct response to the attacks on London in late World [...]

A historic tragedy is at play before our eyes: Another Munich, when some European democracies thought they could avoid the war by appeasing Nazism. Winston Churchill said: "You accepted shame to avoid war, now you will have both." History's verdict was merciless.
Radical Islamism is a danger for any democratic state: its fanatic character may be used to justify violence. Even if it does not directly advocate violence, extremism creates a climate conducive to violence.
Islamists still use the conservative backdrop of Moroccan society to press for Shari'ah-oriented social change. For example, Islamists massively mobilized to block the king's "Women's Integration Plan," a series of measures put forth by the government to improve the lot of the country's female population.
Mindful of the stakes, the king created an extra-parliamentary commission tasked to advance the plan's agenda. Non-Islamist Moroccan elites feared the project would be buried. The surprise that followed was that the king pressed for the implementation of the plan and won, despite Islamist efforts to defeat it.
Meanwhile, working within the cultural fabric of the country, the king has undertaken to reform religious life more broadly, promoting an open and tolerant form of Islam and fighting intellectual and cultural extremism. This endeavor has included the deployment of female religious "advisers" to many mosques and the reengineering of Islamic education in the kingdom, with the goal of stemming the more virulent forms of Wahhabism—a militant trend that had begun to take root in Morocco in the early eighties when Saudi Arabia and Morocco joined forces against Soviet communism in Afghanistan.
Drawing on Morocco's rich heterodox tradition of Islam, the king has also enlisted the country's Sufi leadership – the mystical strand of Islam, so strong in Morocco – to help counter militants. In this largely stable and benign political environment, a small coalition of fringe players are nonetheless working to rock the system, predominantly from outside the country.
Islamism moves almost by inertia: the democrats lack the courage of their convictions and so accept the upsurge of political Islamism as unstoppable, as the Islamists themselves claim it to be.
Last week I watched President Barak Obama's Middle East speech from my home in Casablanca. I felt the speech was important in that it signaled the Democratic party's full embrace of the freedom agenda in the Middle East and North Africa. But important questions remain. How the United States will address Islamist political parties in the region's emerging democracies is a problem that should be closely monitored by Arab liberals like myself. In some countries such as Libya, Islamist militants are among the fighting forces, and they will undoubtedly expect a piece of the pie when the dust settles and power is shared. Meanwhile in Egypt, the Muslim Brotherhood is poised to dominate the forthcoming elections.
It is about time for the democrats to awaken, and not for a Munich-like collusion that would be conducive to disaster.
The Obama Administration needs to reassure Arab democrats by signaling its awareness that radical Islamism is a danger to Arab democratic transitions.
Vigilance is required to prevent these forces from taking power, lest the tragic story of Munich on the eve of the Second World War, repeat itself.

Beginning tomorrow, May 28th, 2011, along with the Muslim American Society (MAS), the Islamic Society of North America [ICNA] will be holding its 36th annual convention, entitled "Quran: Guidance Towards a Just and Balanced Way." The event is scheduled to take place at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford, Connecticut.
Although lately, we have been hearing from a broad spectrum of the media about the wide influence of the Muslim Brotherhood throughout the Middle East, serious discussions about the Brotherhood inside America are few and far between.
There is also a newfound awareness of the Muslim Brotherhood for people inside the U.S., who might not previously have heard of the group. What many Americans still unaware of, however, is the fact that the Brotherhood has a fairly large presence inside the U.S., where many if their entities operate under the guise of "civil rights" organizations.
The Muslim Brotherhood motto is: "Allah is our objective. The Prophet is our leader. The Qu'uran is our law. Jihad is our way. Dying in the way of Allah is our highest cause."
According to ICNA's website, featured as speakers at this year's event will be a number of Islamic radicals. These include According Siraj Wahhaj, a government-named "unindicted co-conspirator" for the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, and Jamal Badawi, whose work, Gender Equity in Islam, justifies wife beating.
Another of the scheduled speakers is Yusuf Islahi, whose involvement with ICNA is substantial. In addition to speaking at ICNA functions, Islahi has been the Chief Patron of ICNA's Islamic outreach (dawah) faction, named: Why Islam (WI). Until recently, Islahi's personal website, farrukh.net, was the Registrant for ICNA National's official site.
Islahi has also been directly involved with Jamaat-e-Islami as a member of its Central Advisory Council, the Markazi Majlis-e-Shoora, of the JI-Hind, the Indian branch of Jamaat-e-Islami. In this position, he is currently serving his fifth term -- someone involved in both the Muslim Brotherhood overseas and here at home.
While the ICNA event will most probably get news coverage, it is likely that no mention will be made in the media of the Brotherhood or ICNA or Ilashi's association with it. These will, in all likelihood, be ignored, as they have been so many times in the past; and America's citizens will remain uninformed to what is happening around them and its agenda of Islamist global political power.
Contemporary U.S.-based groups such as the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) had their beginnings in the Brotherhood.
The Muslim Students Association (MSA), with chapters in most of, if not all of, the universities throughout the United States, was the first major Brotherhood group in the U.S. Further, the North American Islamic Trust (NAIT) owns the properties of hundreds of Brotherhood-oriented mosques and Islamic centers.
Another Brotherhood organization – one of the largest within the United States – is the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA). Started in the late 60s and early 70s, ICNA began as an American arm of Jamaat-e-Islami (JI), the Muslim Brotherhood of Pakistan.
The media's reporting of revolutions taking place in various Middle Eastern nations sh0ould be raising concern about the potential for the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) – or Ikhwan al-Muslimun – to gain power within various nations, especially inside Egypt, where the global headquarters of the Brotherhood is located. As the Brotherhood is responsible for the emergence of a number of terrorist movements around the globe, including Hamas and al-Qaeda, unfortunately the concern is warranted:
It's Memorial Day weekend -- let's look back with wonder at this country's deep and abiding love for military.
"Over there," George M Cohan
Soooooooooo great.
In a move that defies logic and the will to survive, the leaders of the G8 plan to pay $20 billion in jiyza to the onslaught of Islamic supremacist movements across the world. One has to wonder what the new Nazi party in Egypt is slated to get.
The G8, more of the one world government, is driven by Islamic supremacists and leftists. "One neck, one leash." (That was Rand, I think.)
G8 have $20B for 'Arab Spring' Politico
Hoping to encourage the push for freedom and democracy, President Obama and leaders of the G-8 countries announced Friday that they will allow international development banks to provide more than $20 billion to help spur development in the "Arab Spring" counties like Egypt and Tunisia.
A statement released by the G-8 leaders assembled in Deauville, France, did not breakdown how much development banks from each county would provide, but promised to "mobilize substantial bilateral support to scale up this effort." "Our collective aim is to ensure that instability does not undermine the process of political reform, and that social cohesion and macroeconomic stability are both sustained," the statement read.
The statement also did not make clear what specifically the $20 billion in funds were designed to provide the two countries.
Hoping to further encourage the push for freedom and democracy in the Arab world, the statement warned Syria the G-8 countries will seek "further action" if the government continues to use violence to breakup protests in the country where hundreds of protestorshave reportedly been killed by the military.
"The "Arab Spring" has high stakes for the G-8 nations—the U.S., Japan, Canada, Russia, France, Germany, Italy and the UK. For the Europeans, the Arab world is on their doorstep: Democracy and prosperity in the region could promote stability and provide new growth opportunities, while their failure might trigger a flood of unwanted migrants. The U.S. would like more stability in a region that has been a source of foreign policy headaches."-from the article

Iran has not been punished for its role in the 911 attacks. As this new information contines to emerge, the next President of the United States should remove this murderous regime. That should be a campaign promise.
May 19, 2011. Attorneys representing families of 9/11 victims today are informing a federal court in Manhattan that they are filing comprehensive evidence that Iran played a key role in planning and facilitating the 9/11 attacks and called on the U.S. Government to declassify documents detailing what the U.S. intelligence community knew about Iran's relationship to al Qaeda prior to September 11, 2001. "Today, nearly a decade after the attacks that took so many of our loved ones away, we believe the 9/11 families and the American people deserve to know the full truth about Iran's complicity," said Thomas E. Mellon, Jr. of Doylestown, Pennsylvania, law firm of Mellon Webster & Shelly, the lead attorney in Havlish, et al. v. bi Laden, et al., now pending in the U.S. District Court in Manhattan.
"We simply want to make sure that those who are responsible for assisting the September 11 terrorists in their attack on the United States are found accountable for the harm they caused," said Fiona Havlish whose husband, Donald, perished on the 101st floor of the North Tower
Representing eight law firms from across the United States, the attorneys and their team of investigators have turned up convincing evidence that Imad Mughniyah was the main liaison between Iran's leadership and al Qaeda and that Mughniyah played an active role in planning the 9/11 attacks. Mughniyah, a Lebanese Shiite, was a top commander in Hezbollah, the terrorist organization created and supported by Iran since the early 1980s. Mughniyah was assassinated on February 14, 2008, in Damascus, Syria.
"Our experts, including three former 9/11 Commission staff members, have stated that the evidence is 'clear and convincing' that the Islamic Republic of Iran was involved in the 9/11 attacks," said Timothy B. Fleming, the lead investigative attorney in the case, of the D.C. office of the firm Wiggins Childs Quinn & Pantazis.
"The 9/11 Commission called for further investigation by the U.S. Government into the al Qaeda-Iran-Hezbollah relationship, but until now there's been no indication that any government agency has taken any action to pursue this matter," said Mellon. "Through interviews with former U.S. Government and intelligence officials, members of the 9/11 Commission staff, former Iranian intelligence officers, and a wide variety of non-governmental experts and fact witnesses, we have undertaken this 'further investigation,'" Mellon added. Before 9/11, the FBI considered Mughniyah to be the world's most wanted terrorist.
The United States Government has accused Mughniyah of masterminding the April 1983 attack on the U.S. Embassy in Beirut, that killed 63 people; the October 1983 simultaneous attacks on the U.S. and French military barracks in Beirut that killed 241 U.S. Marines and 58 French soldiers; and the kidnapping and murder of numerous U.S. hostages in Lebanon, including the CIA's Beirut station chief William Buckley and U.S. Marine Lt. Colonel Richard Higgins.
Mughniyah was also wanted by the FBI for his involvement in the 1985 hijacking of TWA flight 847 and the murder of U.S. Navy diver Robert Dean Stethem, and by Interpol for his role in the 1992 attack on the Israeli Embassy, and the July 1994 attack on the AMIA Jewish community center, both in Buenos Aires.
Today, the Havlish attorneys disclosed that they have taken sworn testimony, which will be filed under seal, from former Iranian intelligence operatives describing the direct participation of Imad Mughniyah and top government officials of Iran in the planning of, and preparation for, the 9/11 attacks.
These witnesses also describe the roles of Mughniyah and top Iranian officials in assisting al Qaeda leadership and operatives to escape from Afghanistan after the U.S.-led invasion in the wake of 9/11. Iran then provided safe haven and support for these al Qaeda members inside Iran.
"The 9/11 Commission discovered, just days before publication of its report, important U.S. intelligence documents that detailed Iran's involvement in aiding and abetting the 9/11 plot," Mellon pointed out.
On page 240 of its final report, the 9/11 Commission stated that "a senior Hezbollah operative visited Saudi Arabia to coordinate activities there," and that this "senior Hezbollah operative" and his associate were on the same air flights as several of the future hijackers who were traveling to and from Iran between October 2000 and February 2001.
"We have compelling evidence that the 'senior Hezbollah operative' was Imad Mughniyah," added Dennis G. Pantazis, of the Birmingham, Alabama law firm of Wiggins Childs Quinn & Pantazis.
"Imad Mughniyah was known to be an agent of Iran, running terrorist operations for Iran and Hezbollah. Mughniyah's participation in the hijackers' preparations for the 9/11 attacks leaves no doubt that Iran was directly involved in, and had foreknowledge of, a planned terrorist attack on the U.S.," Mellon said. "Discoveries about Mughniyah's role are very important because, as found by the 9/11 Commission, 'after 9/11, Iran and Hezbollah wished to conceal any past evidence of cooperation with Sunni terrorists associated with al Qaeda,'" Fleming added.
The Clerk of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York has already entered a default against the Iranian government defendants, and the Havlish Plaintiffs now ask the Court, based on all the evidence, to enter judgment against Iran.
The case appears as In Re Terrorist Attacks on September 11, 2001, Civil Action No. 03 MDL 1570 (GBD): Havlish, et al. v. bin Laden, et al., Civil Action No. 03-CV-9848 (GBD). Over the past nine years, the eight law firms of the Havlish consortium have invested thousands of hours of time to investigate Iran's involvement in the 9/11 attacks.
"When Tim Fleming and I joined this coalition of attorneys representing the 9/11 families, our immediate and ultimate goal was to provide the families with a full accounting of what happened, how it happened, and who was responsible for that terrible day in September 2001," said Pantazis.
"Developing evidence of Iran's involvement with al Qaeda regarding the events of 9/11 is like putting together a large jigsaw puzzle where many of the pieces are missing and will never be found. Still, the picture is clear that Iran's and Hezbollah's complicity cannot be seriously challenged," said Mellon. "Over the last nine years, after interviewing dozens of people, reviewing hundreds of documents, and consulting with many experts in the field, we have developed a strong evidentiary case of Iran's involvement in the 9/11 attacks," Mellon added
"These families have waited nearly ten years to hear the truth. Under the scrutiny of a federal Judge, hopefully this will be accomplished in the next few months," Pantazis said.
Ellen Saracini, the widow of Victor Saracini, Captain of United Flight 175, which was the second aircraft to hit the World Trade Center, stated, "The September 11 attacks were an attack on the American way of life and on the American belief in a civil society where we respect others and resolve our differences in an orderly and peaceful way. It is only appropriate that those who are attacking our way of life are found accountable in our American system."
This would be funny if it weren't so lethal. The genocidal Jew-hating jihadis need the Jewish brains to ....kill the Jew. Just like Hitler. He, too, needed the Jewish brain to successfully unlock the science behind nuclear fusion and nuclear fission in his attempt to defeat the forces of the good and the righteous.
Albert Einstein, for one, was "a German-born theoretical physicist who developed the theory of general relativity, effecting a revolution in physics. He was forced to flee Europe when it decided to rid itself of its Jews. He remained in Berlin until 1933, when he renounced his citizenship for political reasons and emigrated to America to take the position of Professor of Theoretical Physics at Princeton*. He became a United States citizen in 1940 and retired from his post in 1945."
Spanish police seized Israeli made helicopters ready for export to Iran (thanks to Banafsheh Zand-Bonazzi )
UPDATE: It's worse than that. Lil Red Bird sent this: Iran Angling for Helicopters With Nuke Capability
The arrest on Thursday of five Spanish businessmen and three Iranians allegedly planning to smuggle into Iran military helicopters formerly owned by Israel sparks concerns over the possible use of nuclear-armed cruise missiles by Tehran's Islamist regime.
It's hard to explain any double digit approval number of the most disastrous presidency (both foreign and domestic) in our nation's history. But it speaks to the power of big media. Bush's unemployment was 4.6% and we were told what a horror it was. Everyone was working, prices were low, the country was safe and the left was sick with a form of mad cow disease called BDS (Bush Derangement Syndrome).
Here we are in an economic tsunami of bad news, and the Obama economy is being hailed as a recovery. And in what can only be diagnosed as stockholm syndrone, a ruby red district goes to a Democrat in a special elction in NY, a party that has proven time and time again to be the Defeat America party. And the media lauded that singular election as the second coming of Obama (while they negated the 600 legislative seats that went red not five months ago). America, snap out of it. You are walking into serfdom.
This is where I'll be this weekend -- it's fleet week in NY. My dream weekend. The city is filled with heroes. I am in awe.
The city of New York really opens its arms to these sailors and Marines. The Yankees and Mets provide hundreds (thousands) of free tickets for the crews, broadway stars come onboard to sing songs from shows. And the bars and restuarants give them many freebies and discounts. Many of these sailors and Marines have never been to NYC before, they love this chance to visit the city and are proud to be seen wearing their uniforms. Everywhere you turn in Mahattan you will see them, they are our best ambassadors, the true peace keepers, our heroes.
What did I say about Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper last week, last month, last year? So yeah, I told ya so. And yeah, I envy Canada Harper. America, let's look to our northern neighbors for leadership, shall we?
Here is what I wrote last week:
Contrast the speech Obama gave with that of Canada's stalwart Prime Minister, Stephen Harper, last November with Obama's (peace be upon him) recent betrayal.
And watch what I said back in February on The Quebec TV Interview: "La droite étasunienne selon Pamela Geller." Bottom line? I'd charge through hell with a bucket of water for Harper.
Today, Canada stood with Israel against the Obama administration at the Group of 8 meetings in Europe. The Canadians forced the G8 to soften their statement by removing a specific mention of the 1967 border plan in their joint statement.
YNet News reported:
Canadian delegation blocks mention of 1967 lines in Group of Eight leaders' joint statement calling Israel, Palestinians to return to peace talks.
Group of Eight leaders had to soften a statement urging Israel and the Palestinians to return to negotiations because Canada objected to a specific mention of 1967 borders, diplomats said on Friday.
Canada's right-leaning Conservative government has adopted a staunchly pro-Israel position in international negotiations since coming to power in 2006, with Prime Minister Stephen Harper saying Canada will back Israel whatever the cost.
Diplomats involved in Middle East discussions at the G8 summit said Ottawa had insisted that no mention of Israel's pre-1967 borders be made in the leaders' final communiqué, even though most of the other leaders wanted a mention.
"The Canadians were really very adamant, even though Obama expressly referred to 1967 borders in his speech last week," one European diplomat said.
A spokesman for Harper would not comment on the line Canada had taken, saying only that the final communiqué would make positions clear.

Just like the imam guilty of aiding the jihadis plotting to blow up the New York City Subway system on the anniversary of September 11th, here we have another pious man of the quran convicted in the Kennedy Airport terror plot, "ONE OF THE MOST CHILLING PLOTS IMAGINABLE."
"He had a vision that would make the WTC attack seem small."
Every act of jihad, occurring daily throughout the world, has the imprimatur of a Muslim cleric. The problem is Islam.
Imam from Trinidad convicted of planning attack on JFK airport
On the eve of Memorial Day Weekend, please remember those who are fighting and dying for us. Please remember those who do what must be done, despite serving a commander-in-chief with an incoherent foreign policy, a CIC who refuses to address religious motivation (jihad, the reason for all of these wars), who is abandoning our allies and siding with our enemies. Pray for our sons and daughters, brothers and sisters, husbands and wives who are in a life-and-death battle with an Islamic army that Obama is "peace partnering" with.
Our soldiers are being killed in unprecedented numbers under the Obama regime. Yesterday, I reported on six US Soldiers killed in Afghanistan by Obama's jihad "peace partners"
Under Obama, US deaths have spiked month to month, every year since the infiltrator took office.
05/27/11 NATO: ISAF Casualty
Again and again, year after year, we witness the deadliest month in the deadliest year, under impossible rules of engagement. And what do we get from the Dems? Commercials showing Paul Ryan throwing Grandma off a cliff. Wake up, America.
Obama's first year in office, 2009, was the deadliest year for U.S. service members fighting in Afghanistan, and the first time American casualties there exceeded the number in Iraq. Until 2010. And then that year became the deadliest, as early as August 2010.
Where is the moaning media? Remember, during Operation Iraqi Freedom, there was the daily broadcast of US deaths -- recounted ad nauseum. Now, all quiet on the left wing front.
What is Obama's mission by objective? Partnering with the Taliban? Whatever it is, the result is the humiliation of the US military and maximum death. Obama's Afghanistan is a more effective US killing machine than the enemy.
As soon as the Departtment of Defense identifies our fallen heroes, I will publish their names; pray for their families. Please join me in Florida June 12th at a fundraiser to benefit the troops CRCC (CONCUSSION RESTORATION CARE CENTER) at Camp Leatherneck in Afghanistan.
"Eight US soldiers killed in Afghan blasts," from AFP, May 27 (thanks to Jaladhi):
Pentagon spokesman Colonel Dave Lapan said the soldiers were killed by two successive blasts on Thursday in the same location in Shorabak district in Kandahar province.
Kandahar is the birthplace of the Taliban, and fighting there in the coming months is likely to prove a key test of foreign forces' ability to hold ground in the south taken from insurgents last year after a troop surge....
A Taliban spokesman claimed responsibility for the blast, which was initially announced by the NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF).
The bombing brings to 199 the number of foreign troops who have been killed in Afghanistan this year, according to an AFP tally based on that kept by the independent website iCasualties.org.
Of those, 148 were from the United States. The total international force death toll for last year was 711.
The blast caused ISAF's highest death toll in a single incident since April 27, when nine Americans -- eight troops and a contractor -- were killed by an Afghan officer who opened fire at a Kabul military training centre....
Instead of admitting their terrible mistake, the dhimmi Western powers are digging in their heels and further prosecuting the Serbs in their sisyphean and thankless efforts to stop Islamic imperialism.
Look, there are no heroes in the Bosnian conflict, but the Muslim atrocities were far worse. The Serbs dared to fight. That's what this is all about. As Gorin so succinctly put it, "They are guilty of ..... daring to answer war with war." The question is, why would the Western powers send in troops and pave the way for a militant Islamic state in the heart of Europe? The catastrophic consequences have not yet manifested themselves, but they will impact the geopolitical landscape in what promises to be a bloody 21st century.
Roasting Mladic Julia Gorin
"…[In Srebrenica] beheadings of Serbian civilians were commonplace, and in some villages the mujahedeen would dynamite homes with the inhabitants trapped inside.
No attempt was made to hide such atrocities. In fact, Gen. Oric would often address the media at the site of the massacres. On one such occasion, while standing in front of mujahedeen displaying decapitated human heads as trophies, Gen. Oric pointed to a smouldering building in ruins and proudly announced to reporters, "We blew those Serbs to the moon."
Alija Izetbegovic was also proud to display the fighting prowess of his mujahedeen volunteers. Following a successful attack against Serbian positions around Vozuce on Sept. 10, 1995, the Bosnian president held a televised medal presentation. Mujahedeen warriors had served as the vanguard of the assault force, and were awarded 11 decorations for valour, including the Golden Crescent, Bosnia's highest honour.
Following the Sept. 11 attacks, FBI and CIA agents uncovered evidence that two of the suicide hijackers had originated from this Bosnian camp…The U.S. military has taken a keen interest in mujahedeen activities in the Balkans since Sept. 11. Late last month, U.S. Air Force Gen. Richard Myers visited NATO troops in Bosnia to warn them against a possible al-Qaeda retaliation attack. And on Dec. 4, the White House added two Albanian terrorist groups operating in Macedonia and Kosovo to its list of outlawed organizations…"
– Scott Taylor, of Canada's Esprit de Corps magazine, writing for Ottawa Citizen in December 2001
We'll all be able to sleep more soundly, won't we, now that Ratko Mladic is caught.
As jubilation over the latest Serbian catch proceeds for the next several weeks — by Muslims, media, Washington and Brussels — the merrymakers should understand that others of us are also elated, but for a very different reason. For the reason that the cameras go dark once these trials actually start. (As they've done in the inconvenient Karadzic and Milosevic cases.) As Hague observer Andy Wilcoxson warned upon Karadzic's arrest three years ago: Be careful what you wish for. In fact, in the coming weeks I'll be checking in on the past year of revelations from the Karadzic trial, and give us a flavor of the beans Mladic will be spilling. (This is of course IF the Tribunal gives him the chance — its judges tend to cut off microphones when an inconvenient truth comes out in court.)
Whatever proof will be shown of executions by Mladic's forces of Muslim POWs (and there were a few hundred — though not 8000), it's important to understand the main reason he has been sought with such universal zeal, as was Karadzic and the abducted-by-night Milosevic, not to mention all the lesser-known Serbs currently serving multi-decade terms. The crime they are all morally charged with — above and beyond anything legal or technical — is daring to fight back when Muslims attacked. They are guilty of being Serbian officials during war. Of daring to answer war with war.
Anyone care for a roasted Serb?
Because if we're on the subject of POWs, let it be known what your Western governments have kept from you. The Serbian POW in the photo above had been roasted, allegedly alive, by mujahedeen forces serving in the Bosnia-Herzegovina Army. An excerpt from a too-little-too-late effort in 1998 by American Serbs to catch up to their enemies (and designated victims) in the image war reads:
The castration and forced circumcision of hundreds of Serb POWs ranks among the most repugnant of war crimes — these physical mutilations of Serb victims were never made public by CNN, CBS, ABC, NBC, nor any major U.S. newspaper. If the American people had been told the truth from the beginning, American GI's would not be in Bosnia today…
There's more — much more — where the image above came from, here. As well, we have documentary video evidence (which I am in the process of downloading and creating a location for).
Graphic details of what Srebrenica Muslims did to Srebrenica Serbs even appear in the book Planned Chaos by a wartime MP named Ibran Mustafic. (Also from the horse's mouth, let's not forget about these two raped Bosnian-Muslim girls who escaped from Muslim Srebrenica to Bosnian-Serb authorities for safety.)
In February, Wilcoxson commented:
The Serbs by no means have a monopoly on atrocities. Just like the Muslims, thousands upon thousands of Serbian civilians were driven from their homes in Bosnia. During the war, Serbia hosted more Bosnian war refugees [Serb, Muslim and Croat] than any other country. Just like the Muslims, Serb civilians were rounded up and held in camps under inhumane conditions. Just like the Muslims, Serbian civilians were subjected to gruesome massacres. In fact, in the region around Srebrenica between 1992 and 1995, many Serbian villages were massacred by the Muslims from Srebrenica under the command of Nasir Oric and some of proof is in this horribly gruesome video — http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z8o7ozy3fMz [removed by youtube as a "violation" — note: why do Serb victims need to be hidden from public view, but not Muslim victims? A brief but informative alternative video appears at this youtube link.]
Everybody involved in the Bosnian War is guilty of ethnic cleansing. Before the war, Muslims made up almost a third of the population in what is now Republika Srpska — after the war their share of the population was just shy of 2%. Likewise, in what is now the B-H Federation, Serbs had comprised about a third of the population before the war, and after the war they were just over 3%. Those people didn't just voluntarily decide to walk away from their homes, their property, and all of their possessions in order to be refugees. The Bosnian-Muslims have no right to point fingers at the Serbs, because they themselves did a lot of the same things they're accusing the Serbs of doing [and started the war in the first place]. There won't be reconciliation in that part of the world until everybody admits their guilt.
Meanwhile, an update from the other front of the Balkan jihad. Mladic may be captured (whew!), but this guy and his cohorts? Still in office:
This apt picture, starring our good friend the terrorist "prime minister" of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci (flanked by his other Western protectors Bernard Kouchner and Javier Solana), is a reference to the murder-for-organs story that broke a few months ago. Make no mistake about the timing of the Mladic capture. Terror collaborators (a.k.a. bureaucrats) in Washington and Brussels need very much for this other story to recede even deeper into oblivion than it already has. (And who even remembers that it was a Kosovo Albanian that killed two U.S. servicemen in Frankfurt just two months ago?) And so the Mladic arrest is meant to overshadow all the bad news coming from our Great Islamic Hope in Kosovo. As if Mladic did anything approaching the crimes that the 'legitimate' rulers of Kosovo committed against non-Albanians and Albanians alike — and by their own hand. As if 1500 Muslim soldiers — not "8000″ — dying from a combination of combat, landmines, infighting and — yes — criminal execution of POWs compares to kidnapping and torturing civilians and selling their organs, to name just one slice of what these apparently more 'kosher' butchers are guilty of.
Indeed, given such macabre revelations, the U.S. needs to re-justify a looming NATO operation that will bring Kosovo's north under Albanian control — by reminding the world of WHAT THE SERBS DID, via a Mladic capture. And so the quisling regime in Serbia — desperate to join the club of "humanity" and that promised-land European future — obliged.
Nor does the West seem to have a problem with those in power in Bosnia. Never mind that some of them helped fund the 9/11 attacks, that another (the son of wartime president Izetbegovic) is a major weapons smuggler, and that a third fosters fundamentalism, issued the mujahedeen passports, and is essentially the top rung of the Bosnian leg of al-Qaeda. Nope, no problems for us there. Not nearly the priority that Mladic was. Flashback to December 2001, again from Canadian military reporter Scott Taylor:
Osama bin Laden — stripped of his Saudi citizenship in 1994 — is alleged to have retained the Bosnian passport he was issued in Vienna in 1993. According to a Sept. 1999 report in Dani, a Bosnian Muslim weekly paper, Alija Izetbegovic, then president of Bosnia, granted Mr. bin Laden a passport in recognition of his followers' contributions to Mr. Izetbegovic's quest to create a "fundamentalist Islamic republic" in the Balkans.
Dani also reported that al-Qaeda terrorist Mehrez Aodouni had been arrested in Istanbul while carrying a Bosnian passport. Like Mr. bin Laden, his citizenship had been granted "because he was a member of the Bosnia-Herzegovina army."
Lest we forget, the people still in power in Bosnia also issued a passport (and citizenship) to 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed. Again, nothing to see here. Keep moving toward the Orthodox Serbs.
And just when you thought it couldn't get any richer, Reuters brings us this:
The Muslim member of Bosnia's three-person inter-ethnic presidency, Bakir Izetbegovic, welcomed the news of Ratko Mladic's arrest on Thursday and said it was conducted in cooperation with Bosnian security agencies.
So Bosnia's security agencies kicked right into gear on this one, while being "unable" to secure certain other aspects of Bosnian society.
On the Russia Today network, historian Srdja Trifkovic yesterday warned that in the coming days and weeks, rather than commendations for Serbia's turning Mladic in, we can expect to see and hear a renewed orgy of Serbophobia, a recycling of all the old tales of the heinous things the dastardly Serbs supposedly did.
But Serbian president Boris Tadic doesn't seem to get it: Tadić: Serbia's reputation "no longer tarnished"
"A difficult period of our history is over and Serbia's reputation is no longer tarnished," Tadić underscored. "I believe that this operation has proved that the services of the Republic of Serbia have made this country safe and have secured the rule of law, and that our work on the search for war crime suspects will increase Serbia's moral credibility in the international arena and raise all security capacities to a higher level…" Tadić said.
"It is good for Serbia that it has closed [i.e. reopened] this chapter of history," Tadić said, and explained that the extradition process was already underway.
Asked whether he expected unrest in the country, the president said that he did not expect the country to enter a political crisis, and that "anyone who tries anything of the kind will be arrested and prosecuted". […]
Well, after all this, who's going to jump to defend Serbia from any aggressors again when needed? No one. And that's the whole idea. Welcome to the EU of small, castrated, prostrate, states — where only nodding will be tolerated.
Here's how Robert Leifels, an American cop who served as UN police in Bosnia, put it to me yesterday morning: "I guess you heard about the arrest of General Ratko Mladic. People in trouble always turn to guys like him when they need help, then turn against them when they are no longer needed. He served his country and now he is being used once again, to pay for EU membership. Did you ever watch the old movie HIGH NOON starring Gary Cooper? Tells it all."
Speaking of Tadic's anticipated rehabilitation of Serbia, the opposite is already in full swing — just like last time. But he will not be deterred:
…Tadić said that the arrest has "opened" all doors to EU membership. "Today we cleared our name and the name of all Serbs," he said.
So we're ALL GO for EU membership, right? But wait a second — this just in:
The European Union wants Serbia [to] show evidence it is making progress in regional cooperation, including with the breakaway province of Kosovo, to boost the chance of becoming an entry candidate by year's end.
European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso last week told Serbia that time was running out and it had to do more by the end of June to convince the EU it is ready to become a candidate.
So there will be no 'unblocking' for Serbia anytime soon, as the bar keeps getting reset higher. Whatever Serbs do — including during the Balkan wars when they repeatedly laid down their weapons at Western behest and got slaughtered — is not enough.
To wit: Is this the first time you're hearing the name Goran Hadzic? We were always used to seeing the names Mladic and Karadzic as the pair of most-wanted fugitives. But once Karadzic was caught, all of a sudden we needed to also get this guy Hadzic. So it became "Mladic and Hadzic." Because you simply can't arrest enough Serbs. (Headline: "Ratko Mladic arrested: Goran Hadzic last remaining major figure at large") As Nebojsa Malic put it to me recently:
Goran Hadzic is the last remaining official of the Republic of Serb Krajina, destroyed by Croatia in 1995. All the other Serb officials, whether from Serbia or from Bosnia and "Croatia" are either dead, or have been convicted of BWS (Breathing While Serb). They need him to complete the set, so to speak.
[In February], they convicted the head of Serbia's police in 1999 for "joint criminal enterprise" to murder and expel poor "Kosovars". The verdict stated that Milosevic was the mastermind of the conspiracy, and all the coverage noted that he "died while on trial for genocide." (As in, it was proven and all). Sickening.
Dr. Trifkovic reminds us that the Hague's tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia "is a highly politicized institution that has been used over the years to provide retroactive quasi-judicial [justification] of the political position of the Western powers that the Serbs are indeed the main culprits for all that came to pass in the former Yugoslavia." He adds that the Serbian press today is more government-controlled than it ever was under Slobodan Milosevic, and is consistently pushing EU membership as a panacea for all that ails the country — much like Communism had been, he points out. "If Serbia does join the EU," he says, "it will be the first time in history that a rat has jumped onto a sinking ship."
And imagine that the stealth jihadists and Muslim Brotherhood proxies in the US (CAIR, ICNA, ISNA, Ibrahim Hooper, Nihad Awad, Reza Aslan -- a paid shill for Iran -- Ibrahim Ramey, and all the other soldiers of Allah) don't believe this very thing, too, while they are lying to your face.
Triumphalist chest-thumping from a man who certainly sees which side has been racking up most of the victories lately. But the game isn't over. "World's future belongs to Islam," from the Ahlul Bayt News Agency, May 27 (thanks to Robert):
The intelligence minister pointed to the recent popular revolutions in Egypt, Tunisia and Yemen and other anti-government uprisings across the Arab world and argued that all of these movements are of Islamic nature, inspired by the Islamic Revolution in Iran.
Moslehi referred to the West's "confusion" over the wave of the Islamic awakening, saying Western countries try to attribute the movements to "non-Islamic" roots.
The recent visits by US President Barack Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to different parts of the world, particularly to the Middle Eastern countries, are aimed at "preventing further losses to the US interests in the region," he added.
Moslehi called on regional heads of states, especially Saudi officials, not to follow the US path, because they themselves will eventually "get entangled with the Islamic awakening."
In recent months, a wave of revolutions and anti-government uprisings has swept the Arab world.
In January, a revolution in Tunisia ended the 23-year ruling of former President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali.
In February, another revolution led to the ouster of former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak after three decades of authoritarian rule.
Other revolutions have erupted in Libya, Yemen and Bahrain, while more anti-government upheavals have swept Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Oman and Algeria.
Meanwhile, more Arab countries are expected to witness similar revolts.
Note how this Iranian news agency omits any mention of Syria.
More peace and love from the "arbeit macht frei" movement in Egypt. Will the media morons ever moan mea culpa?
Leader of the Muslim World, al-Husseini and ally, Adolph Hitler
Something tells us this is not about the Autobahn. Or Volkswagens. They promise rapid development, but there would be other forms of command economies to propose if they wanted them: something else has made them choose the Nazi brand identity. And it wouldn't be the first time two virulent strains of antisemitism found each other, as the image above shows a meeting between Hitler and his ally, the Mufti of Jerusalem. "After fall of Mubarak, group announces intent to form Nazi party," from Al Masry Al Youm, May 25 (thanks to Gravenimage):
A little historical context to new Atlas readers unfamiliar with Hitler's ally, the leader of the Muslim world, the Mufti al-Husseini.
According to Maurice Pearlman in the book, The Mufti of Jerusalem, the onslaughts against the Jews were particularly savage (page 15):
In August 1929 simultaneous attacks by Muslims on Jews in Jerusalem, Hebron, Safed, Jaffa, Haifa, Hulda, and Beer Tuvia. Those were the centers with the highest casualties though other Jewish towns and villages were also attacked.
In the weeks preceding the attack faked pictures had been disseminated among the Arabs showing the Mosque Omar in ruins. The caption beneath declared that it had been destroyed by Jewish infidels who were now seeking to build on its site the Jewish Temple. [1]
Husayni was the one who incited the crowds of worshipers to violence. In 1929, the most influential newspaper in Egypt, La Bourse Egyptienn, declared ; " the murder of the Palestine Jews is an echo of the Mufti's inflammatory exhortations in the mosque." (Van Paassen, Days of Our Years, p.367) The Mufti accused the Jews of endangering mosques, including Al-Aqsa. He issued the call: "Kill the Jews!" and " We will drink the blood of the Jews" (Dershowitz, The Case for Israel, p.41) and disseminated pictures of the Jewish victims, falsely claiming that they were Arabs murdered by the Jews. Faked photographs were circulated "showing the Jewish flag, with the Star of David at its centre, flying from the top of the Dome of the Rock- something which had never happened." (Gilbert, Jerusalem in the Twentieth Century p. 120) The Supreme Muslim Council, which Husayni headed, issued a proclamation : "O Arab! Remember that the Jew is your strongest enemy and the enemy of your ancestor since olden times…for it is he …who poisoned Mohammed… It is he who now endeavors to slaughter you as he did yesterday." (ibid. p126) "The Hebron massacre was the culmination of a series of religiously inspired massacres deliberately incited by the grand mufti…In August 1929 leaflets prepared by the mufti instructed Muslims to attack the Jews. One such leaflet said that the Jews had "violated the honor of Islam" and "raped the women and murdered widows and babies" It was a blood libel demanding a holy war against the Jews." ." (Dershowitz, op. cit. p. 42-43)
"In the White Paper…the Secretary of State declared that "no one has been more active than the Mufti of Jerusalem" (Gilbert. p.125)
The 'Ibrahimi Mosque' -- otherwise known as "Ma'arat HaMachpela," the Tomb of the Patriarchs and Matriarchs, is the second holiest site to Jews in the world. The site was off-limits to Jews and Christians for 700 years -- from 1267-1967. This despite its sanctity to Jews, and despite the fact that the building above the caves was built by Herod some 2,000 years ago, six hundred years prior to Muhammad's birth. Since Israel's return to Hebron in 1967 the site has been accessible to all people of all faiths. However, Moslems refuse to accept freedom of worship, claim that it's a mosque and declare that should they ever again control the site, it will be off-limits to anyone not Moslem. (The site, nor the city of Hebron is mentioned anywhere in the Koran.)
And what was the Mufti doing after the war while war criminals were being punished? The mufti was in Egypt, under the protection of King Farouk, supported by the Muslim Brotherhood, arming to wipe out Israel. Check out this news report from the Canadian Jewish Chronicle, January 31, 1947:
