I just checked my two thermocouples, I was mistaken, my memory playing tricks on me again!
Sorry about that, I can't think why I got that wrong! Must do more checking !

If you mean type K, no. That has nothing to do with the plug, it has to
do with the kind of metal the thermocouple is made from. This determines
the voltage output and the temperature range. Type K is Type K.
