Rod,
That balanced nickel is impressive but I am a little suspicious. He did not
have the grinder bolted down which certainly helps. If it was on a rubber
pad, that too will help. But most importantly, if his wheels were balanced,
then that would dominate. I don't recall seeing a before and after under the
same conditions.
If you do follow this video, note that you do NOT have to pull the roll
pins. I stupidly tried and it took hours to remove them. Then the author
told me I didn't need to bother... duh!

Harbor FreightR Tool Grinder
Rick, the packrat in me keeps everything. The green
wheels have never been used. A friend has this as his
only grinder and uses the side of the wheel and his
wheels are badly gouged and his attempts at truing
looks goofy because he runs up against the metal back
plate.
In doing more research, MSC also sells an aluminium
oxide wheel for this grinder at one and half times
the price of Wholesale Tools.

Maybe the higher price means a better wheel, but my
guess is that all these wheels are imported from Israel.
And Rick, thanks again for the lead on YouTube showing
the 5 part series about tuning up the HF grinder
<http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lSi3lucyRQo> , balancing
a nickel after his rework is truly amazing.
