[gingery_machines] Very long stroke DTI

 

I have just uploaded some photos of my very long stroke digital DTI to my folder, Malc Parker-Lisberg, see:

It is not quite finished, it needs an end fitting to hold a steel ball bearing to give consistant contact and a better bracket for the right hand end of the spring, but it works fine as it is now.
The mounting brackets were cast in aluminium using lost foam.
